This culturally informed curriculum takes students through self-actualization, growth mindset, educational road mapping, and self-advocacy to support student liberation and choice-filled lives.

Our mission

The core principle to school success is a comprehensive understanding of the “why.” The mission of  My Brothers Teacher is to give urban schools the tools and resources to bridge students’ purpose and passion with the school’s mission and daily operation through the utilization of the community’s own resources. We believe that this is the key to helping students value education; improving school culture and academic mastery. Change the Mindset. Change the Culture. Change the Community.

Navigating Self Awareness

For decades in American schools, Black males have been viewed and compared to their White counter parts from a lens that both portrays them as inferior but also tends to develop an inferiority complex in Black boys. Our intuitive curriculum design enables your students to challenge these ideals and develop an empowered sense of Self that reflects their limitless potential.
